Rochestown Park Hotel Cork, is an independently owned hotel and has long been recognised as Corks Premier hotel. It recently completed a major revamp designed to retain the old character of the hotel but meet the demands of the modern business and leisure consumer. The hotel is used by a broad spectrum of clients from all backgrounds and all age profiles. It is locally recognised as a great place to meet for business, a coffee with friends, something to eat in the evening or a night out at the weekend. The brief was to redesign the hotelís brand identity that would better reflect the hotelís changing face, echo the successful marriage of new and old in the hotelís development and set the hotel apart as an independently owned hotel.



The brand also had to be robust enough to handle a huge amount of applications and new literature was designed as part of the project. Following the release of the new literature & subsequent marketing drive, occupancy rose from an average of 25% in the first quarter to 60% in the current quarter. Staff reaction to the new literature has been really positive and has had the knock on effect of a renewed surge in up selling. Customers have also commented very favourably on the new identity.
